Many of our Associate of Applied Science (AAS) programs emphasize technical courses so you can get career training in two years. We also have short-term “stackable” Skills Certificates and Professional Certificates designed for quick employment or career advancement; they also can lead to an AAS degree. This degree option is great for you if you are looking to start working in a technical or related field. In some areas of study, hands-on experience and work are applied to the curriculum for credit. Programs under the AAS degree option vary widely and are often technical in nature.
If your goal is to transfer and earn a bachelor’s degree, our Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT), Associate of Fine Arts (AFA), Associate of Science in Chemistry (ASC) or Associate of Science in Engineering (ASE) degrees will give you first-rate fundamentals for transfer to a four-year college.
