Sedalia, Missouri – Dec. 21, 2023 – State Fair Community College’s The LearningForce is offering Six Sigma Black Belt exam prep training in live Zoom sessions 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Feb. 7 and ending April 13. Deadline to enroll is Jan. 24.
This training is recommended for certified Green Belt professionals and those who are responsible for leading lean projects and communicating process improvement with employees of all levels. Six Sigma Black Belt certification indicates a mastery of Six Sigma tools, techniques, data analysis, and skills for successfully leading project teams.
Steve Webster, American Society for Quality (ASQ) Master Black Belt, will be the training presenter. He has more than 40 years of experience. In this 10-weeks of biweekly meetings, participants will receive up to three hours of one-on-one instructor mentoring.
Participants will learn all the core competencies of Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) such as the aspects of the define, measure, analyze, improve, and control (DMAIC) model in accordance with Six Sigma principles. In addition to technical skills, participants will learn how to master leadership, communication, business acumen, and project management skills that can result in a successful, long-term career path.
In addition to completing the coursework and a real-life company project that could result in significant savings for participants’ companies, an 80% class attendance is required to obtain the training certificate. The cost of the training is $5,500 per person.
