Sedalia, Missouri – Feb. 26, 2024 – The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Theatre Arts program will present “The 39 Steps (Abridged)” at 7:30 pm Feb. 29 to March 2 and March 9, at 2 pm March 3 and 10, and 10 am on March 8. The new 60-minute stage adaptation by Patrick Barlow, is a comedy mystery based on John Buchan’s novel. The production will be at Thompson O’Sullivan Studio Theatre on the Sedalia campus. The dinner theatre will be at 6:30 p.m. March. 2. The play is directed by Tim Wells, SFCC Theatre Instructor & Technical Director.
“The 39 Steps” is a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theater. This two-time Tony and Drama Desk award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, with dozens of zany characters racing across the British Isles.

SFCC students and employees may reserve tickets for performances at no cost in the Box Office. Dinner theatre tickets for Saturday, March 2 cost $13 per person.
