The LearningForce at State Fair Community College will offer three different in-person trainings in topics related to communicating in the workplace. Building Resiliency: Mastering Stress Management and Communication will be held August 1 and 8 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Navigating Bias in the Workplace will be held on August 21 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Mastering the Art of Communication: Email will be held August 22 and 29 from 12 to 4 p.m. All three in-person sessions will take place on the Sedalia campus.
Building Resiliency: Mastering Stress Management and Communication is an in-person session in which participants will learn effective stress management techniques, how to have a healthy work life balance, and how to master communication skills. The session will take place August 1 and 8 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fielding Technical Center room 291 on the Sedalia campus. Cost is $399 and Missouri One Start grant eligible. Navigating Bias in the Workplace is an in-person session in which participants will learn inclusive leadership in a diverse workplace by identifying and overcoming bias through interactive discussions and scenario-based learning. The session will take place on August 21 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Fielding Technical Center room 291 on the Sedalia campus. Cost is $299. Mastering the Art of Communication: Email is an in-person session in which participants will learn effective email usage, understand key elements and how to apply templates for efficient communication.
