Boys and girls will have the opportunity to improve their basketball skills at State Fair Community College’s annual sports camps. Players will learn from SFCC coaches and student-athletes and other high school and college coaches.
All camps will take place at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus. Registration forms are available at sfccmoroadrunners.com/information/camps, or at the Davis Center office.
- Girls basketball camp for grades 3-9 will meet from 9-11:30 a.m. June 5-8. Cost is $70. Each camper will receive a T-shirt and awards will be presented to individuals in specific areas of basketball. Cost is $70.
- Boys all-day basketball camp for grades 3-12 will meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 12-14. Emphasis will be on improving basketball skills. Each camper will receive a T-shirt and awards will be presented to individuals in specific areas of basketball. Matt Brown, the Roadrunners new head coach, will be one of the instructors. Cost is $95. The deadline to register is June 9.
- Boys and girls shooting camp for grades 3-12 will meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 15 and 9 a.m. to noon June 16. Campers will learn proper shooting form, and each camper will receive a personal shot evaluation to help improve shooting skills. Cost is $50. The deadline to register is June 14.
