SEDALIA—The State Fair Community College Foundation has presented the Edward J. and Norene Sartin Kullman Memorial Scholarship to Macie Yearout, a Lincoln High School graduate, for the 2016-2017 academic year. The scholarship was for $700.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Gruhn established the Kullman Memorial Scholarship in 2006 in honor of Mrs. Gruhn’s parents who were teachers in rural Benton County schools.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be graduates of Lincoln High School, enrolled as full-time freshmen at SFCC seeking an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Applied Science degree, and have maintained a 2.5 grade point average in high school.
