Dr. Christopher Kindle was elected as the President-Elect for the West Central District

Sedalia, Missouri – Feb. 7, 2024 State Fair Community College Music Program Director Dr. Christopher Kindle and Music Adjunct Instructor Andrew Fischer were elected to serve on the West Central Missouri Music Educators Association (WCMMEA) on Jan. 27 during the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference.  

 Kindle was elected as the President-Elect for the West Central District. This is a six-year term with two years as the President-Elect, two years as President and then two years as Past-President. Kindle formally served as the College Representative for the West-Central District.  

Fischer was elected to the role of District Band Vice-President Elect for the West-Central. This is a four-year term with two years as the District Band Vice-President-Elect and two years as the District Band Vice-President. Fischer formally served as the West-Central District Jazz Vice-President.  

The Missouri Music Educators Association is a federated association of The National Association for Music Education which includes nearly 80,000 Music Educators dedicated to providing a comprehensive, well-balanced, sequential, and quality education.
