Sedalia, Missouri – The Small Business and Development Center at State Fair Community College has announced a new workshop to help small businesses grow online. The three-hour course, Grow with Google, will be 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sept. 25 in Thompson Conference Center on the Sedalia campus. There is no cost for the workshop.

Participants will learn how customers find their business online and how to promote their online presence using a free business listing, search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and online advertising.

The workshop will introduce tools designed to increase traffic to a company’s website, including Google Analytics and Google Trends. Topics include best practices for creating a free Google My Business listing, improving a website’s visibility in Google’s organic search results and advertising on Google.
