Tutoring Services
Sometimes, you need a little extra help. In the Academic Success Center, we offer free tutoring in nearly every subject. Online tutoring also is available! We’ll help you figure out what’s slowing you down, and get your educational goals back on track.
Counseling Services
Starting college can be overwhelming. When you need support, we offer free confidential short- and long-term counseling services to help you overcome obstacles and grow academically and personally. A licensed clinical social worker is ready to talk.
Career Services
Feeling anxious about your future? We’re here to help make your career development process exciting, not stressful! We offer career advising, assistance with job searches and personalized help with résumés, cover letters and interview preparation.
TRiO Student Support Services
TRiO programs were established as part of the federal “war on poverty” initiative to help low-income, first-generation college students or students with disabilities earn bachelor’s degrees. The programs aim to help students overcome cultural, social, academic, and class barriers to education.
SFCC’s TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) serves 160 students each year. Its goal is to help each student successfully transfer to a four-year institution and earn a baccalaureate degree.
