Marketing and Communications is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of communication to ensure the dissemination of accurate, clear and consistent information to all students, employees and the public.
Student communication includes mySTAR announcements and emails, social media and the Roadrunner Reader.
Employee communication includes mySTAR announcements and emails, This Week at SFCC emails and the Roadrunner Reader.
Employees who have information relevant to all students or all employees should complete a service request, and Marketing and Communications will determine the best medium for dissemination.
Marketing and Communications also is responsible for communicating with the public by issuing more than 350 press releases each year, coordinating press conferences for major events and producing the annual magazine and fact book.
