The State Fair Community College Nursing Club scholarship committee has awarded the Karen Lybarger scholarship to Jonathan Tyler Finkle, Butler, Missouri, center, for the fall semester. Lybarger, who worked as a ward clerk at Bothwell Hospital, established the endowed scholarship for aspiring nurses. Students who apply must have a 3.0 grade point average and write an essay on the impact they hope to make in the nursing field. Katie Touchstone, Show Low, Arizona, left, Nursing Club president, and Courtney Zebert, Pierce City, Missouri, right, Nursing Club vice president, presented the $540 award.
