SEDALIA—State Fair Community College now offers personalized tours to prospective students and their families from 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
Personalized tours are for individuals, families and groups of students (10 maximum). After an introduction by a faculty member or navigator, participants will learn about SFCC’s programs and services and take a campus tour that includes the Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building and Residence Hall. Tours leave promptly from Student Services in the Hopkins Student Services Center.
SFCC also will host a Roadrunner Preview Day for prospective high school juniors and seniors and their families from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 10 in Thompson Conference Center in the Heckart Science and Allied Health Center on the Sedalia campus.
Participants will interact with faculty and staff and meet navigators. Lunch will be provided. Faculty will provide interactive sessions that showcase their different clusters, including Arts and Communications; Business and Information Technology; Natural Resources and Agriculture; Health Services; Human Services; and Industrial Technology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education).
