Sedalia, Missouri – Sept. 12, 2023 – The Missouri Small Business Development Center (MOSBDC) at State Fair Community College will offer a Starting and Managing a Small Business class 1-4 p.m. Oct. 10 in Fielding Technical Center on the Sedalia campus. Cost is $49 per person; however, current SFCC students can attend at no cost.
This class will provide an overview of the critical first steps associated with starting a business. Participants will assess their strengths and weaknesses, learn the importance of planning and discuss legal and regulatory requirements. The goals of the class are to help entrepreneurs identify resources and areas for training or assistance in business operations, and determine if they are ready to become a business owner.
