The Missouri Small Business Development Center (Missouri SBDC) within The LearningForce at State Fair Community College will offer a four-session launchU course to help aspiring entrepreneurs gain knowledge and information that will help them set up their businesses for a solid start or improve businesses in initial stages. The four sessions will be held Feb. 16, 23, and March 1 and 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Fielding Technical Center on the SFCC Sedalia campus. A light breakfast and lunch are included.
The course, priced at $300 per person, covers a comprehensive array of topics essential for any new business owner wanting to perfect their business feasibility plan, concept and pitch. LaunchU offers instructions from a certified facilitator, access to “LivePlan,” a cloud-based business planning software and the Missouri SBDC’s market research database. Participants can expect a supportive network, insight from local experts and feedback.
