Camdenton, Missouri – Jan. 4, 2022 – The Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at State Fair Community College will host customer service training in the construction industry in two afternoon sessions from noon to 4 p.m. on Feb. 1 and 2 at the Mid County Fire Protection District, 184 N. Business Rte. 5, Camdenton. The LOZ Association of Certified Electrical Contractors and Lincoln University are co-sponsors for the training.
The SBDC’s objective is to provide high-quality training that offers participants the opportunity to learn skills that will increase customer service to prospective and existing customers in the construction industry. This training focuses on developing skills in communication, leadership, relationship building, customer retention, problem solving, and measuring satisfaction. SBDC resources and tools pertaining to customer service also will be shared.
This interactive training begins by exploring why customer service matters and how to effectively engage customers in ways that ensure their needs and expectations are surpassed. Other topics include trends in customer service and how to influence others to give great service. Certificates and door prizes will be awarded.
