The Missouri Small Business Development Center (Missouri SBDC) and The LearningForce at State Fair Community College will offer a 4-hour crafting cocktails training on the basics of mixing, pouring and serving various kinds of alcohol. The training will be on Oct. 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. at No. 5 Bistro and Bar located at 108 W. Pacific St., Suite 102 in Sedalia.
This mixology training provides beginners with the basics of cocktail making, including understanding ingredients and mastering classic recipes, like an Old Fashioned, Martini, and more. It offers hands-on experience in mixing and garnishing drinks, explores creative twists with seasonal ingredients, and teaches bartending fundamentals to enhance your skills and confidence. The training also provides tips on serving and presenting cocktails for maximum impact.
The training, priced at $69.00 a person, has a limited number of seats available. Prospective attendees must be 21 years old or over to participate. Interested individuals in this course should register before Oct. 19 at https://missouri.ecenterdirect.com/events/25733.
