As a way to highlight State Fair Community College’s 50th anniversary, the SFCC Foundation will host a Holiday Homes Tour 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, in the Sedalia area. The self-guided tours consist of seven homes of SFCC administration, faculty, staff and a foundation board member.
The featured homes belong to Ken and Dr. Joanna Anderson, SFCC president; Joe and Gloria Fischer, foundation board member; Howard and Sandy Cordes, music faculty; Dustin and Dana Goosen, staff navigator; Donnie and Tina Luper, art faculty; Max and Debbie Mitchell, English faculty; James and Tiffany Bryant, fine and performing arts staff. Information cards at each home will provide a description and unique features of the property.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at http://bit.ly/HomesTour2018 and at SFCC’s Foundation office in Heckart Center and Box Office in Stauffacher Center on the Sedalia campus during normal business hours. Tickets also can be purchased at Moore’s Greenhouse & Flower, 3311 Greenridge Rd.; Sisters & Co., 3805 S. Limit Ave.; Hotel Bothwell, 103 E. 4th St.; and Dugan’s Paint & Flooring Center, 3103 Erika Ave. Tickets may also be purchased with cash the day of the tour for $25 each. Proceeds will go to the foundation that supports and assists SFCC in serving the community by providing accessible, quality educational programs and services.
