Gardner Denver donates air compressor

State Fair Community College recently hung a banner in its Precision Machining lab on the Sedalia campus in appreciation to Gardner Denver for donating a 30 HP 125 psi variable speed air compressor to the college. The new compressor replaces a broken unit the college had used since 1978 with an energy-saving unit manufactured in Sedalia that will serve both the Precision Machining and Welding programs. From left, Justin Wright, SFCC Precision Machining program coordinator; Mark Kelchner, SFCC Technical Education and Workforce Innovation dean; Dr. Joanna Anderson, SFCC president; Paul Dick, Gardner Denver Director of Operations; and Mike Kreisel, Gardner Denver Manager of Manufacturing and Facilities Engineering.
