The State Fair Community College Board of Trustees meets at 11 a.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month, except in December, in the board room of William C. Hopkins Student Services Center. The meeting is open to the public.
Area high school students compete in One Acts and Readers Theatre for the chance to win and move onto the State Competition after winning at the district level. Each competitor will be evaluated on their performance, the top 2 high scoring students will move on to the State Level.

High school district music festival for soloists and small ensembles. Held under the auspices of MSHSAA, State Fair Community College plays host to this event that brings about 1,000 students from 30 high schools to campus over a two-day period. Those performances earning a "superior" rating qualify for the state festival.
