State Fair Community College and the Missouri Career Center will sponsor a free job fair for college students and the community from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 19 in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus.
More than 50 area businesses will be on hand to provide information about job opportunities and talk with attendees interested in their companies. A designated area will be available for potential employees to complete applications and for exhibitors to conduct on-site interviews.
Business attire and resumes are encouraged.
“We are happy to work with the Missouri Career Center to host this event that helps people seeking jobs to connect with area business and industry employers,” said Susan Nelson, SFCC Career and Transfer Services coordinator. “We encourage students and community members to come visit with employers, learn what opportunities are available and hand out their resumes.”
For more information or if you are an employer and would like to be a part of this event, contact Nelson at (660) 596-7306 or snelson9@sfccmo.edu.
