Night of the Living Dead Live

February 24, 2017, 7:30 pm-9:00 pm

The State Fair Community College Theatre Arts program will present the comedy “Night of the Living Dead Live” Feb. 23-26 and March 2-4 in the Thompson O’Sullivan Studio Theatre, Yeater 126, on the Sedalia campus.

The play is a comedic tribute to the historic 1968 film by George A. Romero that was produced during a time of social and political upheaval and has influenced the horror genre. Recognizable moments from the movie such as the cemetery, a lone farmhouse, six petrified strangers, and hordes of flesh-eating zombies are included in the play.

The performance is rated PG-13, and measures have been taken so a younger audience can also experience the production.

Regular performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23-25 and March 2-4; admission is $6. Tickets are $15 for a Feb. 25 dinner theatre in the Yeater Center lobby; dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. The dinner theatre menu is available by calling the Box Office at (660) 596-7387 from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

SFCC students and employees receive free admission, and cost of the dinner theatre for them is $10. Special group rates are available for both regular performances and dinner theatre.

A matinée will be presented at 2 p.m. Feb. 26. Anyone 60 or older will be admitted free.

To purchase tickets, go online, call the Box Office at (660) 596-7387 or email tickets@sfccmo.edu. Wheelchair seating is available upon request. Please view the remainder of the season at www.sfccmo.edu/thearts.
