Health Fair

State Fair Community College nursing and health sciences students will sponsor a free public health fair from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, March 4, in the Yeater Center lobby on the Sedalia campus. Students, employees and the community are invited to attend.

Students will present information on health topics such as cancer prevention, stroke awareness, suicide prevention, weight management, physical activity benefits, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy planning, oral hygiene, sleep health, and more.

The free health fair is part of Healthy People 2020, a national initiative that challenges individuals and communities to take steps toward good health.
