The State Fair Community College Theatre Arts program will present the comedy “Every Christmas Story Ever Told” Dec. 1 and 2 in the Thompson O’Sullivan Studio Theatre, Yeater 126, on the Sedalia campus.
The story begins with Theatre student Tyler Singer playing himself in a one-man-show of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” However, when the performance is interrupted, it becomes a hilarious, mashup of popular Christmas stories and carols.
The performance is based on the play published in 2007 by John K. Alvarez, Michael Carleton and James FitzGerald. Wade Hughes, SFCC instructor, is the director.
The play is rated PG for mild language and may not be appropriate for children who believe in the jolly, old elf who lives at the North Pole.
Regular performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1 and 2; admission is free.
Wheelchair seating is available upon request.
