This workshop is presented over five days; each day different topics are covered. This workshop is ideal for students who desire a refresher over algebra concepts before taking a college level math course or desire a higher math placement score. Topics include solving and graphing linear equations, basic operations with polynomials, factoring polynomials, simplifying rational expression, simplifying expressions with radicals, and solving quadratic equations by factoring, completing the square and the quadratic formula.
Students who complete the posttest with 70 percent or higher are eligible to retake the ACCUPLACER free, which may result in a higher math placement. Registration information below.
