Members of the Sedalia Visual Arts Association will present “Shadows,” an artwork exhibit, from May 26 to Aug. 19 in the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art’s Goddard Gallery at State Fair Community College on the Sedalia campus. Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
“Shadows” is a celebration of diverse artworks by members of Sedalia’s oldest visual arts organization. SVAA members are award-winning artists from throughout west-central Missouri. Selections range from paintings and watercolors, drawings and photographs, to sculptural objects in clay and metal.
SVAA members are amateur and professional area artists dedicated to providing a forum for artistic expression with the opportunity to learn from each other. The group meets monthly for guest lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and field trips.
