The West Central Missouri Vintage Auto Club has awarded $500 scholarships to two State Fair Community College (SFCC) students, recognizing their dedication to automotive studies.

James Carson Jr. and Brittani Plumlee, both automotive technology students at SFCC, were selected to receive the scholarships. The awards were presented on Wednesday, April 9, in the lobby of the newly constructed agriculture and mechanics building on the SFCC campus.

Floyd Hatfield, president of the West Central Missouri Vintage Auto Club, joined fellow club members, along with automotive instructors Matthew Clark and Matthew Karbinas, for the check presentation. The scholarships aim to support students pursuing careers in the automotive industry.
