Ready to rock your workout? Our Tyson Fitness Center has state-of-the-art cardio and strength-training equipment to help you get in shape and stay fit.
The center, on the lower level of the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center, features three inclining treadmills (one of which also declines), two stationary bikes, two Helix machines, and a variety of free weights and LifeFitness Hammer Strength performance strength-training equipment.
Use of the center is free to SFCC students, faculty and staff with valid BLUECARD.
Unless you’re enrolled in a class that meets in the fitness center, you’re required to have a brief orientation about the equipment and proper lifting technique before using the center. Stop by the Davis Center office for assistance; the best time is between 2-5 p.m. when no fitness classes are scheduled.
Workout clothes and athletic shoes are required.
Open hours vary due to classes, games and events. The fitness center is closed during Roadrunner home basketball games.
Tyson Fitness Center hours for fall semester:
Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30-5 p.m.
The Fitness Center may close at least two hours prior to events or games. Closed weekends.
