Calvary Episcopal Church recently presented a check for $800 to the State Fair Community College Foundation for the Josh Eberting/Alternative School Scholarship fund. The scholarship is awarded to eligible State Fair Career and Technology Center (SFCTC) alternative education graduates.
Church members sold boxed lunches at the 2016 Scott Joplin Festival to raise the money. Eberting, who was killed in a 1997 motorcycle accident, was an acolyte at Calvary for many years and an SFCTC alternative education student. From left, Mary K.
