The Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at State Fair Community College will offer training on the basics of understanding financial statements. The training will be offered both in person and online through Zoom and will cover topics related to accounting, budgeting, and business finance. The cost is $49. The training will be held on Oct. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. in Fielding, room 221 on campus or through the online Zoom link.
The training will give small business owners, or other participants a basic understanding of financial statements within a business, the ability to read business profit and loss statements, balance sheets, calculate and use financial ratios needed to make business decisions, and understand the difference between cash and accrual accounting.
