The Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at State Fair Community College will offer a training on starting and managing a small business on Sept. 4 in room 406 at the SFCC campus in Clinton, located at 1701 N. 2nd St. The training will be from 9 a.m. to noon. Due to a sponsorship from Hawthorn Bank in Clinton, there is no cost.
The training will give an overview of the initial steps associated with starting a business and business ownership, planning, and the legal and regulatory requirements. The training will allow participants to understand areas that require additional training or assistance and resources to help them.
