Five SFCC Radiologic Technology students were recently inducted into the Imaging Sciences National Honor Society, Lambda Nu. The purpose of the Missouri Theta chapter of Lambda Nu is to foster academic scholarship at the highest academic levels, promote research and investigation in the radiologic and imaging sciences, and recognize exemplary scholarship.
These students earned this honor by having a professional course GPA of 3.7 or higher, an active membership in a professional organization and actively enrolled in a radiology or imaging science program. The students inducted were, from left, Grace Sloan of Marshall, Nathan Nall of Lake Ozark, Nate Walsh of Smithton, Connor Hughes of Osage Beach, and Nicole Hockett of Warsaw.
Grace Sloan receives Lambda Nu Academic Achievement Award
The SFCC Radiologic Technology program recently presented Grace Sloan of Marshall the Lambda Nu Academic Achievement Award. Sloan earned a 4.0 GPA during the entire time she has been in the program, possesses a high work ethic and is self-motivated to be the best at any task.
