Sedalia, Missouri – March 29, 2022 – The Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at State Fair Community College will host a no-cost retirement planning presentation for people who are self-employed or small business owners. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, in Thompson Conference Center in the Heckart Science and Allied Health Center on the Sedalia campus. Co-sponsor Central Bank will provide a free lunch for attendees. Registration is required.
Presenter Brett Hudson, Central Bank CFP vice president and financial advisor, will be the presenter. Hudson has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and Management from Columbia College. He has worked for Central Bank since 2009 and joined Central Investment Advisors in 2014. In 2016, he received accreditation as a Certified Financial Planner.
The presentation will cover the types of retirement plans that are available and how to choose the best plan. Topics such as saving while working, generating cash from investments and maintaining wealth throughout retirement will be discussed.
