Sedalia, Missouri  Nov. 19, 2021 – State Fair Community College’s The LearningForce is partnering with Central Methodist University’s Master of Science in Clinical Counseling program to offer a free four-session Mental Wellness series from 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays on the following dates: Jan. 21, Feb. 4 and 18 and March 4

The series addresses a variety of mental health-related topics affecting employees in the region. Anyone may participate, but the framework will focus on issues from an employee standpoint. Discussion will include the causes and management methods for depression and anxiety, burnout and coping strategies, communication and regulation strategies, and stress management. 

The series will be directed by Central Methodist University Clinical Counseling program faculty and students who are pursuing master’s in counseling.
