Sedalia, Missouri – Oct. 22, 2021 – State Fair Community College’s Athletic programs and Booster Club will host a Veterans and Active Military Appreciation Night Nov. 9 in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia Campus. Veterans and active-duty military will receive free admission to the women and men’s basketball games and a popcorn and soda from the Booster Club concession stand.
Smith-Cotton High School’s JROTC will present the colors for the presentation of the National Anthem. Local military recruiters and organizations will be present at this appreciation and recognition night.
The Lady Roadrunners’ game against Kansas City Kansas Community College starts at 5:30 p.m. The Roadrunners will take on Link Year Prep Lions from Branson at 7:30 p.m. The next home game for Lady Roadrunners is 5:30 p.m. Nov. 23 against North Central Missouri College. The Roadrunners next home game is 7 p.m. Nov. 16 against Neosho County Community College.
General admission is $5 per person; $3 for ages 13-18 years; 12 and under is free. SFCC students, employees and 60+ in-district residents of Pettis and Benton counties and city of Otterville have free admission.
