The Daum Museum of Contemporary Art at State Fair Community College will present special evening events and extended museum hours on four Thursdays in May through August. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on May 23, June 27, July 25, and Aug. 22. Events will begin at 6 p.m. and are free to the public.
For the first Summer Nights event at 6 p.m. May 23, the Daum Museum will present Tommy Wizard from Circus Kaput in Stauffacher Theatre on the Sedalia campus. Wizard, a member of the St. Louis-based Circus Kaput, is an original, talented and hilarious one-man circus. He excels at juggling, magic and the unicycle. His goofy sense of humor and wacky tricks appeal to children of all ages. Following his performance, Wizard will lead a circus skills workshop with instruction in juggling and plate spinning.
