The Daum Museum of Contemporary Art at State Fair Community College will present special evening events and extended museum hours on four Thursdays in May through August. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on May 23, June 27, July 25, and Aug. 22. Events will begin at 6 p.m. and are free to the public.
On June 27, the Daum will host an opening reception for the museum’s summer exhibitions, including “Sarah Nguyen: Winged Eclipse, Momentary Shadows,” “Constructions and Interventions: Photographs from the Collection,” and “Dreams: Sedalia Visual Art Association Members’ Exhibition.” Thomas Piché, Jr., Daum Museum director, will give a gallery talk at 6:30 p.m.
