Students in State Fair Community College’s Renewable Energy Technology Club and Rick Ball Ford will sponsor a ‘Fords Through the Years’ car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 3 at SFCC’s Energy Innovation Center, 24409 Oak Grove Lane, Sedalia. Admission is free.
The car show will highlight changes in automobiles from the Model A to new energy efficient and electric models. A Ford Model A and Model T and about 20 other Ford vehicles will be displayed, including five fuel-efficient eco boost and hybrid models (F250 and Mustang).
Other activities include a barbeque lunch starting at 11 a.m., a DIY store featuring renewable energy do-it-yourself projects, a bounce house, and an information table on SFCC’s Biomass Energy and Solar Electric programs and the Energy Innovation Center.
A to Z Home Improvement in Sedalia is donating brats and hamburgers. Ship Shape Party Rental is donating use of the bounce house, and Stone Laser Imaging is donating trophies and a plaque to show winners.
