Tech Prep

Hey, are you in a Tech Prep class? Ask your teacher or counselor about articulating SFCC college credit!

Articulation is linking students to schools with coordinated programs, giving them opportunities to save time and money and move more quickly toward their educational and career goals. Articulation saves time--up to 15 credit hours, and saves money--up to $1,455.

Important announcement: FREE Credit!

If you graduated from a Missouri career center, technical school, or comprehensive high school in the past 1-3 years and took classes in areas such as agriculture, auto tech, business/office tech, building trades, CAD, electronics, health occ, machine tool, networking, welding, etc. you may qualify for FREE articulated credit and may not need to be enrolled in certain classes.

If you believe you may be eligible for the credit, see June Skutnick in the Tech Prep office for the necessary form and/or additional information so your schedule can possibly be changed.

Student Eligibility

In order to be eligible to receive articulated credit at State Fair Community College, the student must:

1. Meet program prerequisites as established by the College and stated in the SFCC Course Catalog.

2. Receive grades of "B" or better in all related Career and Technical Education (CTE) vocational coursework each semester of Grades 11 and/or 12.
