Net Price Calculator
Planning and financing your college education is easy. At the bottom of this page is a link to a net price calculator, which is a tool to estimate how much it costs to attend SFCC based on the information entered into the calculator. Remember, this is an estimate.
The information you receive from the calculator is a broad estimate for first-time, full-time students. Many factors come into play when financial aid is awarded to students, including but not limited to such things as: meeting priority deadlines, levels of funding, grade levels, enrollment status (full-time, three-quarter time, half-time, less than half-time), academic progress, completion of supplemental applications, and the results from your FAFSA.
It is also important to note that the net price calculator does not incorporate Federal Stafford Loans into its financial aid calculations. Students who file a FAFSA may be eligible for low interest, deferred loans through the Federal Direct Lending Program. The loan amounts offered vary based on a student's dependency status and grade level in school.
Estimate of Cost
For all financial aid awarded, the Financial Aid Services Office creates a cost of attendance estimate. This cost of attendance includes tuition, fees, room and board as well as transportation, supplies and miscellaneous expenses. The cost of attendance is the average cost based on direct college expenses as well as regional norms.
