The center will expand training programs and certifications in agriculture, including ag mechanics, precision agriculture, transportation logistics, diesel technology, ASE accredited automotive technology, alternative/future fuels and material handling equipment/technologies.
The total project likely will require a $20 million investment. The State of Missouri has committed $12.5 million and the SFCC Foundation has committed to raising $10 million private funds for the CAATT building.
Please consider being a part of this investment in the future by making a contribution to the new Center for Advanced Agriculture & Transportation Technology.
I am writing to share an extraordinary opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of education and the agricultural and transportation industries in our community. State Fair Community College is embarking on a project that provide a state of the art facility to train workers in two large regional industries: Agriculture and Transportation. With your support, we can make this vision a reality.
I am thrilled to introduce you to the State Fair Community College Center for Advanced Agriculture and Transportation Technology (CAATT). This innovative facility will serve as a beacon of progress, fostering hands-on training on advanced technologies in the realms of precision agriculture, agriculture mechanics, automotive and light diesel technology and commercial driving. The CAATT will provide state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, classrooms, and collaborative spaces, propelling our students into the forefront of these vital industries.
At SFCC, we believe in preparing our students for the challenges of tomorrow. By investing in the CAATT building, we are investing in their success and the prosperity of our community. Here are a few compelling reasons why your support matters:
Empowering Our Students: The CAATT programs will equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience required to excel in the evolving fields of agriculture and transportation. They will be prepared for great jobs here in the communities in our region. The CAATT building will serve as a hub for our faculty and students to work collaboratively with industry partners to learn new technologies, improve processes, and address key challenges facing agriculture and transportation.
Meeting Industry Demands: The agricultural and transportation industries are undergoing rapid transformations. By supporting CAATT, you will help us bridge the skills gap and provide a qualified workforce to meet the demands of these sectors.
We are seeking partners who share our commitment to education, innovation, and community development. To bring the CAATT building to fruition, we already have commitments for $7.5 million in funding from the State of Missouri, along with $5 million in equipment. We have set a fund-raising goal of $10 million. Your generous contribution will enable us to break ground, construct this cutting-edge facility, and provide our students with unparalleled opportunities for growth and success.
Your support can take many forms. Whether you choose to make a financial donation, sponsor a specific aspect of the building, or contribute in-kind resources, every contribution will make a significant difference. Additionally, we would be delighted to recognize your generosity through naming opportunities, special events, and other acknowledgments.
I sincerely hope you will consider supporting the CAATT building at State Fair Community College. Together, we can shape the future of education and empower our students to thrive in the agricultural and transportation industries. By investing in their potential, we are investing in a better tomorrow for all.
